Items requiring attention are listed here. Anyone is allowed to contribute! If you have knowledge in a specific area, you are encouraged to contribute by starting short "stub" articles, editing existing articles, or uploading full works (being mindful of copyright).
- Corporate Eco-Initiatives page summarizing corporate eco-initiatives (e.g. IBM, Sun, HP other major IT vendors), including encouraging corporations to commit to rigorous regular triple bottom line reporting Template:WP, analogous to financial reporting, to prevent greenwash.
- Industry Standards page summarizing existing industry standards (e.g. LEED buidling standards, EnergyStar, etc.)
- Personal Computing page summarizing recent desktop & notebook computing progress toward sustainability
- Datacenter Computing page summarizing recent datacenter computing progress toward sustainability
- Manufacturing page page summarizing progress toward sustainability in the manufacture of all IT goods (e.g. lower energy production, reduction of hazardous materials, etc.)
- Project:About should contain Main Page content, and Main Page be rewritten
- Expand sections by sector, for example Telecommunications, Government, Education, Finance and Banking, Natural Resources, Aviation and Aerospace, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Chemical, Heavy Industry, Entertainment, Construction, Agribusiness and others.
- Create a sustainability classification system, being mindful to separate components from systems and manufacture from operation. For example, a fully environmentally sustainable datacenter would buy or generate its own renewable energy, and achieve sustainability for all components by selecting carbon neutral components or offsetting embodied carbon with renewable energy generation or carbon credit purchase.
